All products are bought to be used. When designing, it is very important to take into consideration what criteria should the product meet in order for the user to be satisfied.
Functional, psychological and aesthetical benchmarks are to be considered all together. When you buy a piece of clothing you expect something from it such as to cover and protect you, to make use out of it in different occasions, to compliment your body, to be easily taken care of, make you feel that it is saying something about you and your personality, etc. Good design will emphasize on the usefulness of a product, disregarding anything that could possibly detract from it.
I believe that a garment should be very versatile, address as many of your needs as possible. In order to be truly useful it should be, first of all, healthy for you to wear, it should make you feel comfortable and help you deal with daily work as smooth as possible by adapting to your needs. That is why I am conducting a lot of research on fabric, to make sure that the products that I design will be in line with your lifestyle and serve you as best as possible. For this, however, innovation is needed and thankfully I am on the right track.
Form Follows Feeling.
